New Orleans indie rock duo Generationals perfectly mix elements of 60′s flower power with the indie rock of the early 2000′s. The band gained a decent amount of notoreity after being featured in two commercials including one for Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and one for Bloomingdale’s. You can hear a track of theirs as the opening song for the 2010 film Going The Distance as well. With two albums and an EP under their belt, Generationals show no sign of stopping their onslaught of happy, guitar driven indie rock.
